About Tressa Peissig

Experience and Credentials

Tressa Peissig is a 21-year-old aspiring author. She has been writing fiction for the majority of her life and began working on her current manuscript in 2019. She has began coaching with that manuscript through the AllWriters Workshop, working closely with Kathie Giorgio, a critically acclaimed author of seven novels and found of AllWriters. Tressa also has experience in screenwriting and has taken numerous courses, one of which being Storytelling for the Screen, mentored by Marc Pitre, an experienced producer and writer.

Tressa is currently a senior at Marquette University, planning to graduate in Spring 2025 with majors in elementary education and communication studies. Tressa has remained on the Dean’s List every semester of college and been involved on campus. She has experience writing her own curriculum and tutoring English language learning students and struggling readers. Tressa also organized a fundraiser within her Marquette community to raise money for global education through the Suwandi Foundation.

She is currently student teaching in a fifth grade class at Silver Spring Intermediate School in Sussex, Wisconsin. In her free-time, Tressa enjoys devouring any novel she can get her hands on, running, and spending time with her friends and family.
